*𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯*

Once the team escaped from the destroyed Baste Dungeon, apparently, while they were going to save Ban, they also saved the doctor's daughter which she had been used to blackmail Dr. Dana to poison Meliodas. As for an apology he had invited them over for dinner to celebrate, and now they were celebrating on the rooftop drinking to their heart's content. After their little reunion (Y/n) found out that Elizabeth was hurt badly under Meliodas' watch leading them to this. 

"I leave you four for not even 30 minutes and something happens to Elizabeth? Marshmellow, what the fuck were you actually doing?" (Y/n) asked him, her arms crossed over her chest as Meliodas let out an awkward smile. "Fighting Diane." Meliodas responded and laughed making (Y/n) sigh and pinch the bridge of her nose. 

"Seriously, I can't leave your side for even one second, can I?" (Y/n) whispered and turned over towards the laid down Elizabeth, bandages wrapped around her head and arms, a warm smile plastered on her pale face. "You, Elizabeth... good job." (Y/n) smiled at her surprising both Meliodas and Elizabeth. 

"You were there to save the day while two people were being stupid, you were there when no one else was." (Y/n) stated and patted her head, ruffling her hair causing for a few strands to stick up. Elizbeth smiled shyly and looked away, enjoying the female's warm touch. "T-Thank you, (Y/n)." Elizabeth stuttered, a blush appearing on her cheeks. 

"Who's the new girl?" Turning around at the voice (Y/n) frowned and blocked his sight from Elizabeth. "Don't do anything creepy, pervert 2.0." (Y/n) warned him with a glare as Ban only smirked and walked closer. 

"This is Elizabeth," Meliodas responded and chug more of his beer before looking back over at the trio. "a princess of Liones." Meliodas revealed to him as Ban only shrugged at this and bowed. "Nice to meet you, princess." Ban said in a lazy voice and turned back around towards (Y/n), a playful smirk blooming on his face. 

"Nice to meet you as well, Sir Ban." Elizabeth replied in a bored tone, sharp eyes following his figure as Ban walked closer towards (Y/n). "You're not hurt, are you? You know, from the fall." Ban questioned her. (Y/n) looked at him with a suspicious stare before nodding. 

"I'm fine, creep." (Y/n) turned her head around and walked away from him, sitting down on a chair as she drank her milk. Sitting down next to her Ban smiled and leaned his head towards her. "Not gonna drink with me?" Ban asked her and showed her two beer cups filled to the brim. 

(Y/n) glanced over towards him and shook her head. "I don't drink." (Y/n) replied shortly and continued to drink her milk. Ban frowned and leaned closer towards her. "Come on, only a little sip-"

"Ban, no means no." Meliodas walked over towards the two and interrupted Ban. Ban looked over at him and smiled. "I was just playing around, captain." Ban looked back over at (Y/n) and winked before getting up with his booze and headed towards poor Hawks. 

"He's more annoying than you, Marshmellow." (Y/n) commented and finished her milk as Meliodas let out a little whine. "I'm not that annoying." Meliodas mumbled and sat next to her, booze also in his hand. 

Silence followed soon after as all that they did was sit in comfortable silence, at least, for Meliodas. Tapping on the glass of empty milk (Y/n) glanced over at Meliodas occasionally before groaning. "Not to sound rude or anything, but I can't stand this silence." (Y/n) confessed and rested her head on top of the table, face looking tired.

Meliodas looked down at her and laughed. "I thought it was pretty comfortable." Meliodas whispered and sipped his beer, eyes locked on her figure. "Marshmellow?" (Y/n) said in his name in a questioning tone. Meliodas hummed, "What is it?" 

"I'm pretty tired... I think I want to go and sleep." (Y/n) stated and looked over at Meliodas only to see him smile. "I can take you back to the Boar Hat if you want." Meliodas offered as (Y/n) eyes instantly lit up. 

"So I can go and sleep?" (Y/n) asked him and Meliodas nodded in response. "Sure you can, we can go now if you want." Meliodas said and put down his beer and got up. Slowly getting up after him (Y/n) yawned and nodded in agreement. 

Glancing around to make sure no one was looking at them Meliodas smirked as everyone was too busy doing their own thing and enjoying the night. Grabbing her hand Meliodas pulled her with him as they walked down the stairs and the stairs, heading towards the front door. 

Opening the door Meliodas walked out quietly with (Y/n) in tow as they ran towards the Boar Hat. Once reaching the woods Meliodas sighed and looked back over at (Y/n), a proud smile on his face. 

"All we need to do is go through the woods and there should be Mama Hawks waiting for us." Meliodas informed her and continued to walk inside the forest. Feeling the hand of (Y/n) slip away from his Meliodas' eyes widened and tried to squeeze her hand, but it was already pulled away from his own making his hand feel cold. 

"You were gripping my hand too hard, even though it didn't hurt, it was still creepy." (Y/n) bluntly said and walked in front of him, her now being the lead. "Oh... sorry, (Y/n)!" Meliodas chirped and walked next to her, their bodies barely touching. 

"So... what do you think of Ban?" Meliodas questioned (Y/n), looking up at her, eyes glittering in happiness. (Y/n) hummed and looked around before looking back forward, not once looking down at Meliodas. "I think that creep is really annoying, I seriously don't think I can even spend one day with him." (Y/n) answered him, the air getting cold. 

Meliodas smiled at this and continued to happily walk by her. "You two seemed like you would be good friends, though." Meliodas continued to tease her as (Y/n) frowned. "I don't think I would really want to be friends with him, besides, there's no point." (Y/n) looked down at the smiling Meliodas and raised an eyebrow. 

"What are you all happy about?" (Y/n) questioned him and tucked her hands inside her pocket. Meliodas' smile became wider as he looked away from her. "Just happy to be with you is all." Meliodas replied. 

Sighing, (Y/n) looked upwards only to see shooting stars crossing each other multiple times as if they were fighting each other. "Those look cool..." (Y/n) whispered in slight awe. Meliodas heard this and looked up, eyes widening. "Say, (Y/n)?" Meliodas said her name as (Y/n) nodded her head for him to continue, both of them stopped walking to admire the crossing shooting stars. 

"No matter what happens, you'll always be by my side, right?" Meliodas asked her surprising (Y/n). "What do you mean by that?" (Y/n) asked him again only for him to look down on the flow and grip her shirt, face hooded. 

Both of them were quiet until (Y/n) sighed and nodded, "Sure, whatever, just stop acting like a little kid and come on, I have more important things to do like sleep." (Y/n) stretched her arms and walked forward dragging Meliodas with her. 

Meliodas looked up at her and smiled. "Okay, (Y/n)!" Meliodas exclaimed and walked right beside her, a blush covering his cheeks. Glancing down at Meliodas (Y/n) shivered as she saw the eyes of Meliodas, her comrade, looking like an endless abyss. 

"Something wrong, (Y/n)?" Meliodas asked her in a happy voice, his eyes trained on her (E/c) ones. (Y/n) shook her head and looked back forward, the view of the Boar Hat appearing in front of them. "Nothing, just... thinking."

Sighing dreamily Meliodas was looking down at the sleeping figure of (Y/n). Oh, the way the morning rays danced and glittered around her made her look like a goddess, no, an angel... his angel. Meliodas nodded thoughtfully at the beautiful thought and smiled, but did not try to touch her. He knew that even if a little touch were to be transmitted to the (H/c)-haired female that she would instantly wake up, and that would spoil the fun that he was having now. 

Glancing over at the window the sun was barely even up, but already showed so much light to the land of Liones. Looking down at the sleeping (Y/n) Meliodas sighed in sadness and poked her arms immediately waking her up. 

"I swear, you take my apples and I'll kill you- oh, hey Marshmellow." (Y/n) greeted him in a sleepy tone as she yawned and scratched her arm, eyes droopy. Cooing at the sleepy (Y/n) Meliodas smiled and got up. "Good morning, (Y/n)!" Meliodas greeted her in an excited tone and got on top of her bed, legs crossed. 

Looking over at Meliodas (Y/n) sighed and got up from the bed and put on her shoes already prepared for the day. "What today, Marshmellow? Do we break someone out of prison? Or better yet, we raise someone from the dead?" (Y/n) jokingly asked as she eye-rolled. 

Meliodas smiled and raised his pointer finger, "The second one, actually!" Meliodas responded causing (Y/n) to blank out for a second before looking back at Meliodas with a disturbed expression. "Look, I don't want to be a part of any cult or anything-"

"You're already in a cult, so you're already too late." Ban's sleepy voice cut her off as he was leaning against the door frame, arms crossed. (Y/n) groaned and flopped down on the bed. "Good morning, creep." (Y/n) sighed as Ban walked closer towards her and pulled Meliodas away from her by the collar. 

"Good morning, darling, mind telling me why the captain here was in your room?" Ban asked (Y/n) in an accusing voice making her feel wronged. "Look, I barely even woke up and you're already giving me your bullshit!" (Y/n) exclaimed and threw a pillow at him as Ban dodged it, the pillow landing on the wall making a small crack. 

"Your moves seem sluggish today." Ban commented making (Y/n) huff. "No duh, idiot, I barely even woke up." (Y/n) frowned and got up from her bed and towards the door. "Now come on, we have to go to hell and get someone." (Y/n) stated and opened the door, walking out. 

Ban looked over at Meliodas and frowned. "What the hell are you telling her in 9 in the morning?" Ban asked him as Meliodas only shrugged. "The truth, I mean, there's a good chance that King is dead." Meliodas replied as he got out of the bed with one of her pillows. 

Grabbing the back of his collar Ban looked at Meliodas and glared at him. "Can you stop being such a pervert for a second?" Ban questioned him in a disgusted voice as Meliodas only looked up at him and back down at the pillow. 

"I don't think she'll miss one pillow." Melidoas whispered as Ban ripped it away from his hand and threw Meliodas to the ground. "Hey! You can't just throw me to the ground like that!" Meliodas complained and grabbed the leg of Ban pulling him down to the ground harshly. "What the hell?!" Ban yelled as he went to grab Meliodas' head only for him to dodge. 

"What the hell is wrong with you!" Meliodas yelled back and went to grab his arm only for Ban to outstretch it away from him. "I should be asking that to you!" Ban grunted as Meliodas flipped him over, Ban's hands being held by Meliodas'. 

"Should I go or...?" Quickly turning their heads around to face the familiar voice (Y/n) was awkwardly staring at the two, not even knowing either to walk away or watch this yaoi go down. Meliodas blushed as he scrambled away from Ban as he did the same, both of them at the end of the room not even wishing to meet eyes. 

"T-This is not what it looks like-!" Meliodas tried to explain only for (Y/n) to raise her thumbs as a happy smile bloomed on her face, eyes shining. "Don't worry, your secrets safe with me." (Y/n) winked at both of them and put her pointer finger to her lips. 

Ban blushed and looked away from (Y/n), too embarrassed to even look at her. "L-Listen... we don't like each other-!"

(Y/n) made a shushing motion as she stared down at the two with a little glimmer in her eye. "Just keep doing what you were doing, I'll make sure no one comes up here for the time being. Don't worry, I got your backs." (Y/n) said and closed the door as the two then heard the sound of high-pitched squealing. 

"Now my chances with (Y/n)..."

"... are over," Ban finished for him as they both glared at each other. "and it's all your fault!" Both of them yelled as they tackled each other. Down below (Y/n) heard a small crash sound as she giggled. "What's so funny, (Y/n)?" Elizabeth asked her as she poured (Y/n) a cup of peppermint tea. 

(Y/n) looked over at Elizabeth with a small glint in her eye as she covered her mouth before clearing her throat. "Nothing, Elizabeth, nothing is wrong." So, she drank her tea to try and hide the mischievous smirk on her face leaving a confused Elizabeth to ponder.
